Non – Human life forms are known to be living some where on the Earth’s surface. Details are sketchy but this is what I could provide ;
Who – Extraterrestrial Life forms
What – Non-Human Like creatures
When – 30 years ago
How – By Alien Ship
Where – District 9, African Continent
Why – Possibly to seek refuge
---
Over small talks, it is evident that Multi-National United (MNU) wants to find out about the advanced technology weaponry the aliens possess. The company is oblivious about the welfare of the creatures from a foreign planet and will score big in profits when they have information about the advanced weaponry.
The United States Government have always classified an area in the Nevada Desert as AREA 51 and rumour has it that it contains evidences of the existence of extraterrestrials on this planet.
District 9 is no different. It is a rather living form of AREA 51. The existence of this place could not be concealed due to locals who live around District 9 and it would be impossible to keep quiet about it. Posters fighting for the rights that humans and extraterrestrials can co-exist are plastered all over the walls at places surrounding District 9.
Posters that deny the views about being friends with the extraterrestrials are also present as much as how racism between races used to be or are still existing.
Peter Jackson, the director of The Lord of The Rings Trilogy and King Kong, managed to make a movie of the same name as the location, documenting the lives of people that are involved with District 9 directly and indirectly.
Hollywood now shows many people around the earth what they deserve to know about extraterrestrials.
District 9 opens in Malaysian Cinemas August 13.

So, the story goes like this. In St. John Ambulance Malaysia, the region of Wilayah Perseketuan, has never ever made it past the National Competition round due to several reasons.
- Judges that are not internally trained (ie. our own doctors who knows the syllabus and methodology taught). Judges that are being called to assist in judging the competition are emergency doctors who are trained on different methodologies as they are hospital based while we are more field based.
From the recent shorthanded assistance received from the Emergency Department of University Malaya Medical Centre, the National Competition Committee decided to rope in our own resources to judge 2 of the category. In the end, it is evident that our own internal resource are stricter and able to judge based on syllabus and not just a good show.
- Marking Schemes are present, but the external judges changes every year. So, method of judging is never known and how patients should be treated is hard to determine. In reality, emergency cases are being treated as how the situation will be to ensure the survival of the patient regardless of means. However in the competition, things are less flexible.
Anyway, this year, one team from Wilayah Perseketuan was able to make history by winning the Overall Champions of their category which are the Nursing Cadets category. Represented by Cochrane Road School.
This team worked hard for where they stand now. The past history of this Division is that they tried their best without any help from trainers to win the State Competition but was unable to for several years. Two years ago, they are beginning to make their efforts noticed. Now they have won the State Competition, advanced to the National Competition and surfed their way to the Singapore-Malaysia Round which is a huge coincidence as this Singapore Malaysia Round is a biennal competition and this time, it is held in Singapore.
Now, time for my reporting of the whole Singapore Trip from my view.
KL SENTRAL 2030hrs 19 June
Everyone was having fun chattering and all excited. T-shirts were exchanged and final arrangements are being made. A box of 3-ply Face Masks and 6 bottles of alcohol based sanitiser were given to the girls and Mr. Wang their accompanying officer for the journey to Singapore by Train.
When they left to the terminal to board the train, Mr Lim Kian Tong, Oh Boon Hann, Madam Yang Wai Yew and I discussed about our arrangement to go down to Singapore by car the next day.
Mr Lim Kian Tong’s Toyota ALTIS 1845hrs 20 June
We embarked on our journey from the Seremban Highway, Headed to the North-South Expressway and headed south to Johor Bahru! Reached Johor with a speeding ticket about 23hrs. Crossed the border about at the Causeway at about 2330hrs with a minor traffic jam. Reached Royal Hotel @ Queens at about 0015hrs and headed for supper.
Oh Boon Hann, Student Nurse and Divisional Segeant
Mr Lim Kian Tong, Divisional Superintendant, “Pilot” of the “flight” to Singapore
Mr Wang Siew Hong, Regional Secretary![]()
My Plate of Fried Kuey Teow
21 June 0815hrs
Headed down to the coffee house to have buffet breakfast and temperature checks for the A(H1N1) Influenza.
Cash dealings
The next mission was to follow up on a recorded phone conversation between an ah beng and a banglah. There is a location mentioned in the recorded audio mentioning Punggol Block 107 and we went hunting for that block since Punggol is not too far from the competition venue. Some of you might not know what so great about this audio clip. It’s nothing more than a prank call for some, but its a great inside joke for us from SJAM WP.

To be continued.

Just watched Star Trek (2009) and I think I'm on a journey to be a trekkie/nerd. I will soon speak Klingon. Haha...
And will soon be creating a short video using the effects of Star Trek.

Time to study International Business now.

Today I sang Happy Birthday to my sister of 15 years and I'm proud to say I have a lovely sister though a big pain at times, she'll still be my sister coz she's born into this world as my sister and I'll be stuck with that fact. Not a big problem though.
This year, she's asking for a Guitar Hero set and what I got her was the downloaded song from the Celebrity versions of the Guitar Hero commercials and we got addicted to the song quickly and still no Guitar Hero set from me. She returned home from school today with a huge box and several other plastic bags and for a moment I thought it was a whole Guitar Hero set with the console. The huge box turns out to contain a plush pig without the flu from her primary school friend since Standard 1 if I'm not mistaken.
This was taken when I'm driving her back from a cherleading performance.
After Rebels cleanswept the stunts category at C3
HAPPY BIRTHDAY to
My Dearest Sister,

Month of May, the last month of my foundation programme. It's ending and I'm happy that it's ending. In this post, I'm gonna separate it into several topics and events.
Wilayah Perseketuan Regional First Aid and Home Nursing Competition
This competition gave me a great deal of experience to top off what I've already have, but the downside is that the competition structured is not really practical at most times and revamping is tough but not impossible. I've learnt teamwork rather than usually working on my own. Members of the organisation that I've known since 4 years ago and some that I've just knew not too long ago were present and its really a warming sight.
The results of the competition was shocking but it's good for now we know that the Cadet Divisions are striving to improve their standards. (Cadet Divisions are members from secondary school)
Paracord Bracelets
Recently I've developed a liking for wanting to weave bracelets, lanyards and other peripherals using paracord which is the cord use in parachutes. Quite a sturdy material. However, its sorta expensive and rare in Malaysia. There is a shop which sells 1 feet of paracord for RM4(i think). Another alternative that I found would be nylon cords like the white ones used by the scouts. However, I could not find any colours other than white but a thinner version of it is available in black which is the colour I want.
Urge to go for Survival Camping
People think I'm crazy to endure myself in rigorous activities that torture not only my mental strength but also my body. It's very fun, but at the end of the day I will still succumb to the warm and cozy bed at home. I am planning a trip with my buddies before each and one of us go our separate ways to various countries to pursue our studies. With this urge, I have just added a few more items to my extraordinary shopping list. Climbing Mt Kinabalu was a great challenge and I managed to pull through with a teeny tiny bit of a struggle.
Wesak Day
This year, Wesak Day is a bit different as compared to the previous Wesak Days. I went with my family to Maha Vihara temple around noon and met Melissa. It's funny how my juniors react to my plain clothed presence at the temple as they were doing their First Aid Duty in Full Uniform. After that we proceeded to have vegetarian br-unch at a vegetarian restaurant at Jalan Hang Lekiu and in the middle of the meal, I got a whack on my back by Melissa. Talk about coincidence! Later I went back to the temple before my night time duty for the floats procession. I met quite an amount of friends there and it made my day totally. I got some awesome shots too. I met Wei Gin, Xin Yi, Denise and my buddy Theng and several others at the temple.
At around seven, I was on foot duty to follow the procession from the temple in Brickfields to Central Market to Jalan Raja Chulan to Jalan Bukit Bintang to Pudu Raya back to Central Market and to the temple. a whopping 13km which is not of any difficulty at all. Not carrying much weight as it is only my first aid kit. My partner for the evening, Yee Ling from Kuen Cheng's No1 Nursing Cadet Division was trully entertaining for me and herself. I have to say I am not much of a chatter box during duties if any sort but this time, we had about a 3 hour conversation? Usually I'm paired with some one new or I don't know therefore less talking, though I don't really know her, I've seen her around during several events and duties.
Blue line is the 13km route.
Marketing Commercial
The one and only assignment I have been waiting for this whole semester. The class will be randomised in to groups of 4. I got a good group. This assignment got me pumped as I now have a reason to get inspired and make a commercial! Check out my previous post to watch it!.
Love Story meets Vida La Vida
There is so much hype about it on the internet that it sounds overrated, but the fact is that its a super good piece, a total work of art. Here's the video. Piano + Cello = Perfect match.
Project 365 on Hiatus
I haven't have the time these few weeks to do random photography and my artistic photo resevoir have been depleted. 300 more potential moments have yet to be captured. Stay tuned. The segment is scheduled to be back on May 27th.
Miley Cyrus - The Climb
This is quite a nice song. Slow, lazy flowing song. She might have carried the song badly in some spots, but its really not a bad song at all. I've discovered that there are 2 versions of the song. One is the common piano intro while the other is the guitar intro. Piano intro gives the listeners more feel to the song, building energy as the songg progresses. As for the guitar intro, it totally killed the potential upbringing energy in the song. If it was a story, it's definately anti-climatic.
Taylor Swift
She's young, hot and talented. She's a bomb so to speak or type. Anyway, her live performances ideas really kick ass! It's very creatively innovative. During the Country Music Awards, she had a wardrobe switch. Pretty cool. Now, her music video "you belong with me" is so nice but its so much of a fairy tale as some of her songs are. I think i'm in love. hahaha...
That's all from me. Signing out.
